These terms apply whenever you book a course place, private lesson, or training session with Lingua Chiara. By booking, you accept the terms set out below.
1. Parties and scope
These terms are an agreement between Lingua Chiara, trading as an Italian language course provider in Bristol, and the individual or business booking a course place, lesson, or training session. They apply to every booking made by phone, email, or through the website, and cover all services listed in our catalogue.
2. Booking and quotes
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the course, lesson type, schedule, and price with you, either verbally or in writing. Quotes given before a level check or needs call are estimates; the final price and schedule are confirmed once we know your level, group size, or the scope of business training requested.
3. Performance of the work and access to the premises
Group and intensive courses take place at our Bristol premises unless otherwise agreed. Private lessons and business training may take place at our premises, online, or at your office, subject to reasonable access arrangements being made in advance. We reserve the right to reschedule a session with reasonable notice if a teacher is unavailable, offering an equivalent replacement session.
4. Prices, payment after completion and invoices
Group and intensive course fees are payable in full before the first session. Private, business, and exam preparation lessons are invoiced per agreed block of sessions, payable by cash on completion or by bank transfer against the invoice. No card payments or online payment links are accepted.
5. Cancellation and rescheduling
Course places, private lessons, and training sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled under the terms set out in our separate cancellation policy. Repeated late cancellations of private or business sessions may result in a requirement to prepay future bookings.
6. Liability, insurance and complaints
We take reasonable care in the preparation and delivery of every course, lesson, and training session, but we do not guarantee a specific exam result or fluency outcome, since progress depends on the student's own study and attendance. Complaints about teaching quality or scheduling should be raised with us directly so we can address them, including offering a replacement session or teacher where appropriate.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
